Austin Park

Located 2 miles north of Pittsburg.

Austin Park is a great park sitting on the bank of the Des Moines River. It currently has 13 campsites, shelter house, and boat ramp. The campsites are non-reservable and have gravel pads with electricity to all 13 campsites. There are 2 hydrants in the park for water availability and porta potties are located at the entrance of the park.

CAMPING RATES: $13/ Night

Camping registrations can be found at the entrance to the campgrounds

New boat ramp, parking & kayak launch

Austin Park has a new boat ramp and kayak launch along with concrete boat trailer parking.  This area has long been a popular launch for kayaking to Keosauqua or further to one of the other villages.
