Austin Park camp pads July 2011
2 miles northeast of Pittsburgh.
Austin Park currently has gravel pads and a porta potty for primitive camping. There is no electric or water available at this time.
Current plans are to build a parking lot, new boat ramp and kayak/canoe walkway. There will also be rock along the river bank. This is in partnership with DNR and grants.
Construction is in process. This may involve areas blocked off and other construction issues. Please be patient for the new improvements to be built.
There is a boat ramp and temporary toilet.
CAMPING RATES: Primitive: $7
Camping tickets can be found at the entrance to the campgrounds

New boat ramp, parking & kayak launch
Austin Park is in the process of getting a new boat ramp and kayak launch along with parking. This area has long been a popular launch for kayaking to Keosauqua or further to one of the other villages.
