Caterpillars

Experience nature hands-on this summer at Lake Sugema Wildlife Area as your youngster can catch, learn and explore about caterpillars!  Must have completed 1 year of Pre-School. We will meet at the loop parking lot off of the Lake Sugema dam. Child must be accompanied by a guardian. Bug houses will be available for use. Bug spray and sunscreen is recommended.

May 26th at 9 am to 11 am

Directions from Keosauqua: 
Follow Highway 1 South for 2.1 miles then turn right on to 240th St. for 1 mile, turn left onto Lark Ave. for 1 mile, 
 and turn right onto 250th St. 0.9 miles. 

Tadpoles

Young adventurers in 1st grade and up will have the chance to join us to discover the life cycle of frogs and other reptiles at the Morris Park Pond. ​This program will be held at a pond, proper attire and boots are recommended. Child must be accompanied by a guardian. Buckets and nets will be available for use. Bug spray and sunscreen is recommended.

June 16th at 9 am to 11 am



Gettin' Buggy with It

Young adventurers in 5th grade and up will have the chance to join us at Lake Sugema Wildlife Area to catch, learn and explore about insects! ​Bug nets and houses will be available to use. We will meet at the loop parking lot off of the Lake Sugema dam. Bug spray and sunscreen is recommended.

Date: 
July 14th 1 pm to 3 pm
