Bullet Points on Greef General Store Rental

  • Lease period is 5 years 
  • Lease is only for the Greef Store Building
  • All other buildings will rent from the Conservation Board as before
  • $6,ooo rent per year
  • A security deposit and first month rent required before possession
  • Default and possession clause in place for late payments.  
  • Renter pays utilities except for water
  • Renter will be liable for their own fixtures 
  • The Conservation will maintain building maintenance
  • The Renter will be required to carry insurance
  • Items are to be similar and fit the theme of Bentonsport or approval of the Conservation Board
  • Store is to be open 6 days a week and 8 hours per day
  • Bathrooms will remain open to the public
  • The Conservation will run the May event and Oct event.  Other events the renter can work with other shop owners or request rental space of the park with Conservation permission to enhance or promote Bentonsport.
  • No pets shall be allowed on the premises
  • Renter will provide own advertising and online presence
